I read the blog post about making sites with passion and individuality in a way that compels. Because they're right in that anything remotely public facing is content creation, as much as we hate to use that term. (as an aside, I'm working on my applications for transfering colleges so probably a good as time as any to be thinking about things that make me stand out)

I never grew up on the "old web" so it seems silly to chase that nostalgia personally. I made this as like a way to re-flex my old tumblr coding muscle not realizing there was already a pretty big community on here already.

My personal plans for this site is mostly like a personal archival/cv type situation. I've been meaning to digitaly catalogue my "stuff" for such a long time. Like things i wanna photograph and scan in:

  • sonny angels
  • my frikin yarn stash
  • my cardboard and stickers
I also think having a centralized location for my thoughts would be nice. I'm still unfortunately a slave to the socials so a place for those but in a more personal growth way where I'm still learning to code stuff for them. I also wanted a place for HDs of my instagram posts because I always feel like stuff gets lost in the compressions on that website. Also neopet stuff? Can't believe that is back in a way that compells me.

Lastly, I might want to document some stuff but we shall see. I already use so many other sites as personal diaries.
